Recruitment and resourcing processes within international expert organizations are typically slow and manual. Matching the right expertise with customer needs requires reviewing hundreds of unstructured resumes and requests for proposals (RFPs). Gabria aimed to solve this challenge with a completely new type of AI technology capable of understanding the semantic content of documents more deeply than traditional keyword searches.
Validating the Solution in International Markets To advance development and ensure market fit, Gabria launched a project ecosystem supported by Business Finland’s Innovation Voucher and Tempo funding. The objective was to build a prototype of the new AI solution and test its technical functionality in a real-world environment purely from a concept validation perspective, without operational sales activities. Following this successful product development and validation phase, the commercial name for the solution was established as Aidan. Switzerland and the United Kingdom were selected as target markets, characterized by extensive expert markets that demand exceptional technological quality.
Driven by Technological Edge and Customer Insight
The project supported by Business Finland enabled the systematic piloting of the solution:
- Verifying Superior Technology: The project validated the capabilities of Gabria’s AI engine. It was able to automatically generate and tailor an expert’s resume to match complex RFPs with an accuracy that outperformed the market’s more traditional OCR and search technologies.
- Identifying Market Needs and Requirements: Through pilots and market research, the concrete requirements of target customers—particularly in the financial and insurance sectors—were identified. The key insight was that in addition to superior AI, customers require complete data security and the ability to operate within isolated cloud environments.
- Ensuring Scalability: The AI operational model and architecture created during the project proved so effective that they were determined to be replicable across other human resource processes as well.
A Strong Foundation for International Growth The Tempo project did not only validate the technology; it generated valuable, direct feedback from pilot customers without commercial commitments. The trials concretely demonstrated how the solution streamlines expert resourcing and saves significant time. The customer insight generated by the project served as an excellent springboard for commercializing the technology. Following the project, the actual international sales and commercialization phase was launched and is currently underway, receiving a highly promising reception in the target markets.
